A Comparison of differing wall systems and their impact on embodied carbon

Kingspan partnered with Kieran Timberlake to quantify how Kingspan can reduce embodied carbon in industrial buildings. An LCA was conducted to quantify how QuadCore® panels stack up against other building materials. Results showed that to reduce the embodied carbon of building envelopes, Kingspan QuadCore® insulated metal panels should be considered the product of choice compared to conventional wall systems.
